Power Settings

True Induction single burner induction cooktop is a 1600 watt heating element that operates with 110 volt outlets. The higher wattage allows it to heat up quicker than other induction cookers and remain energy-efficient as the power converts to heat at a high percentage. A variable heat setting from 150-450 degrees can be easily adjusted with a push of the button on the control panel.

Safety Features

Induction heating itself is a very safe way to cook, as the cooktop doesn’t heat unless ferrous metal comes in constant contact with it. Overheat sensors detect the presence of cookware, and if none is on the cooktop the cooker turns off. The unique design keeps utensils from being accidentally heated because they don’t come in constant contact with the cooktop.

With built-in safety shut-off, the burner will automatically shut off after 150 minutes of use. This can be annoying if you’re slow cooking, but it’s an important safety feature and turning the unit on will resume cooking.

Capacity

The cooktop of this induction cooker works best with cookware 4.5 inches to 10 inches in diameter. A 14 inch pan can be used, but the heat won’t be evenly distributed outside of the 9inch circle. Pros & Cons

product name prosPros:
The heavy-duty ceramic cooktop provides a sturdy cooking surface for large cookware. The 1600 watt heating element is the highest output heating elements in the single burner induction cookers. The energy is economically used with over 80% conversion to heat rate. Timer feature makes cooking your favorite recipe convenient without risk of burning it.
This unit is highly portable, great for carrying it along on camping trips, or using it in a recreational vehicle. You can use it anywhere you have access to a 110 volt outlet, adding to the portability.

User-Friendly design allows you to control the unit with simple push button design, and digital display. Safety features including power off sensors assure no accidental burns or fires happen.

The company may be somewhat new to the business, but they are confident in their products, offering a 2 year limited warranty. This warranty is the best in its class, and they even offer a 60 day risk-free trial with no questions asked returns. Their customer support has above average turnaround time, and quickly resolve issues.

product name consCons:
With most induction cookers the issue of uneven cooking is a problem, and this model has this problem. The heating element heats at 5 and 9 inches, leaving the rest of the cooking space unheated. If the correct cookware is used, the problem isn’t as bad. Appropriate cookware must be used for the cooktop to heat up, and several types of cookware don’t work. A magnet is needed to check the cookware to see if it will work with induction cooking.

The company is a newer company in the industry so long-term durability of the unit is unknown. There are a few complaints of short term issues with this product, but they are rare, and the warranty seemed to fix the issue.
